    • Contract for Exploratory Evaluation of Louisa County Circuit Courthouse Dome was awarded on 11-28-07 to Preservation Trades Company with the following justifications:
      1. Nature of the building in need of repair.
      2. Damage is evident in the courtroom and needs to repaired as expeditiously as possible. Vendor has a work force in close proximity to the County that will allow them to do work in expeditious manner.
      3. The Company has experience in examining and restoring structures similar to the Circuit Courthouse

    • Contract for construction of Burn Building by Fire Facilities, Inc. with the following justification:
      • Fire Facilities Inc is the sole source manufacturer and supplier of Wesco Training Towers. Wesco Towers utilize a Red Iron Superstructure similar to that of conventional high rise buildings, allowing the flexibility of design to meet the needs of any special training requirements. These Fire Training Structures are specifically designed to withstand the most rigorous training conditions. This is accomplished by our unique designs and features that incorporate all aspects of fire ground duties.
