The Planning Division helps to create and maintain the County’s Comprehensive Plan and associated long range policies; reviews and approves subdivisions, site plans, erosion and sediment control plans, and variance applications in compliance with the Louisa County Zoning and Subdivision Ordinances and other regulations contained within the Code of Virginia. The Division also provides GIS support for the department and other County agencies. Code enforcement activities include zoning setbacks; erosion & sediment measures; litter, debris, and other code complaints; and monitoring biosolid activities.

Logging Notification Regulations
