The Louisa County Dental Clinic |
|
at the Betty Queen Intergenerational Building The lack of affordable dental care has long been a concern of the Louisa County Resource Council and the Health Department. In 2000, the Resource Council and the Health Department began a successful campaign to build a dental clinic in the new community Intergenerational Center. Under a grant from the Virginia Health Care Foundation, and with volunteer dentists and equipment donated by the Health Department, the clinic opened in July 2002. A wide variety of dental care services are available to adults at low, affordable costs, as well as to Medicaid-eligible children. |
